Communiqué Twin Timelines
Part XVI
Chapter XV of the present work elaborated on how clusters of Demonic entities, divided into two groups which multiple Scriptures have imaged as Serpents and Scorpions, function in a Symbiotic fashion. We are able to identify these mysterious entities because of the Twin Timelines, which is one of the terms we use to describe how various sequences continuously recur in strikingly similar sequences over multiple time periods.
The various
narratives show the “Scorpion Spirit,” is characterized by
dissatisfaction with the decisions made by the sovereign God of Scripture. This
wicked power is further identified by a consistent pattern where it seeks its
own way, as opposed to obeying the will of the Father.
In previous
chapters of Twin Timelines, we have concluded the character
traits of the Scorpion Spirit include anger, wrath, and
resentment and, as the will of the LORD unfolded, these were found in Esau
when he dishonoured his birthright as the firstborn son of Isaac.
The reader
will recall that Esau cared not for the enormous honour of being
born the direct descendant of Abraham, so he traded his Spiritual
birthright for physical comfort to his brother Jacob.
The Scorpion
Spirit was manifested in Esau’s rage towards his
brother, and this led him to the intent that he would murder Jacob.
“And Esau hated
Jacob.….and Esau said in his heart, the days of mourning for my father
are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob” (Genesis
27:41).
At this
point, it will be useful to note that wherever we find the Scorpion
Spirit, the Serpent Spirit (which manifests Death)
will eventually surface as well. Sometimes both factions exist in a single
individual (or a single group), but they are more frequently found in two
separate groups which symbiotically co-exist. In this chapter of Twin
Timelines, we’re focusing on the Scorpion side of
this exotic construct. As we’ve already noted, the third part
which completes the angelic architecture in the Spiritual realm is the vessel
which is the beneficiary of the LORD’s divine will. For the sake of
simplicity, we call this third part the Seed of God.
Jacob
(who was obviously the chosen “Seed” of God in the equation) was to
inherit the birthright blessing given earlier to his grandfather Abraham;
bujt it was because of Esau’s foolish forfeiture that Jacob
had become the heir of the LORD’s promise to choose a
people that would be special to Him. Aware of Esau’s vengeful intent,
Jacob’s mother urged him to flee to a distant land, and the safety of a
relative’s house, who would conceal his presence.
“Arise,
flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; And tarry with him a few days,
until thy brother’s fury turn away; until thy
brother’s anger turn away from thee” (Genesis
27:43-45).
About two
thousand years later, the parents of the Christ child, knowing that King
Herod, the descendant of Esau, had decided to murder Jesus
the descendant of Jacob, hid Him in Egypt from the murderous
wrath of Herod. Thinking the Christ child was in Bethlehem,
but not knowing His identity, the wicked Herod manifested the Scorpion
Spirit as well as the Satanic Serpent Spirit in his
timeline.
“Then
Herod….was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew
all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from
two years old and under” (Matthew 2:16).
The episode
in which the baby JESUS was concealed in Egypt from the wrath of Herod,
is reminiscent of still another Prophetic Parallel, in which the
ancient Pharaoh who knew not Joseph, became indignant because of the
large presence of the Israelites in Egypt.
As the
people of the LORD prospered and multiplied, this Pharaoh had no
respect for the marvelous deliverance of Egypt from the great famine (a
deliverance elected to occur by the LORD, and manifested
through Joseph), and he was clearly dissatisfied with the fact
that God had blessed the Israelites. As he observed the good fortune of the
Hebrews, he grew resentful of their abundant life, and his anger
increased.
It was obvious the Pharaoh hated Israel, as he decreed a policy which required the Hebrew midwives to murder all the male children as soon as they were born.
“When ye
do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools;
if it be a son, then ye shall kill him” (Exodus 1:16).
This
methodology, intended to diminish the presence of Israel in Egypt, proved
unsuccessful as the midwives feared God, and claimed the Hebrew women were so
robust they gave birth before the midwives even arrived when they were called.
The Pharaoh then tried again, and decreed to everyone that
if a male Hebrew was born, they were to drown him in the river.
“And
Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every [Israelite]
son that is born ye shall cast into the river” (Exodus 1:22).
Although the
Pharaoh despised the Israelites, he could not simply slaughter them,
as there were more Israelites in Egypt than there were Egyptians.
“And he
said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more
and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they
multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join
also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the
land” (Exodus 1:9, 10).
As a result
of these circumstances, he developed a scheme in which the Israelites were made
to serve the state, and the Hebrews gradually found themselves in a cruel
bondage to the Egyptians.
“And they
built for Pharaoh treasure cities…Therefore they did set over them
taskmasters to afflict them with their burden. And
the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:
And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage”
(Exodus 1:11, 13).
As the
Israelite’s captivity became increasingly difficult, their
harsh existence as slaves deteriorated to lives of torment. After
the Pharaoh decreed the male children should be cast into the river, a couple
who came from the priestly tribe of Levi had a son which they concealed
from the Egyptians. After a few months of hiding him, in desperation, the
mother built a small basket (called an ark) and, leaving the child in the small
boat by the side of the river, she hoped someone would find the child hidden in
the vessel, and adopt him.
Many know
the story of how the daughter of Pharaoh discovered the child
and, since the Pharaoh had decreed death to all the male Hebrew children, it is
self evident his heritage was concealed. As Pharaoh’s daughter gave Moses
sanctuary, this is another one of many Prophetic Parallels where
the innocent is miraculously preserved, even as the vessel of dishounour seeks
his destruction.
The Scorpion
Spirit attribute of anger and wrath (which leads
to the Serpent Spirit associated with death, murder, and killing)
is in constant turmoil, and it is never satisfied, as evidenced by the
fact that those who are led by this mysterious power are never at peace.
The descriptions of this particular type of devil are found in multiple
Biblical verses where the Word of God describes an unclean spirit.
“The
unclean spirit…walketh through dry places, seeking rest….and
finding none” (Luke 11:24).
Utilizing
the language of prophetic metaphor, a plethora of Biblical accounts provides us
with terms which are commonly connected to this Spiritual hemisphere of the
divided mind of the devil. The Scorpion Spirit, for example, is
linked to captivity, and an involuntary restraint.
“He was
kept bound with chains and in fetters…He that leadeth into captivity
shall go into captivity” (Luke 8:29, Revelation 13:10).
Conversely,
the Spirit of the LORD is He who has the power to set the captives free.
“The
Spirit of the Lord God is upon me…he hath sent me…to proclaim
liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that
are bound” (Isaiah 61:1).
The previous
verse is the very same Scripture, penned by the prophet Isaiah,
that JESUS read aloud in the synagogue in His home village of Nazareth.
Moreover, after citing the prophet’s wonderful words, He told the
assembly that this Scripture had just been fulfilled with His presence.
“And he
closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And he
began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears”
(Luke 4:20, 21).
Most Bible
readers are aware of the fact that the Jews were outraged that
Jesus had flatly stated this prophecy was just fulfilled -- because this
portion of the book of Isaiah is related to deeds performed by the Messiah,
so they sought to kill Jesus because of His claim.
“And all
they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the
hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But
he passing through the midst of them went his way” (Luke
4:28-30).
Ironically,
just as contemporary Christians now expect a literal fulfillment to many
prophecies (and fail to discern the allegorical way that Scriptural predictions
are being fulfilled), the text indicates the enraged Jews could
not see Him, as He passed “through the midst of them.” This is
still another Temporal Recapitulation of the “Script”
wherein Jacob was secreted away where Esau could not see him,
until his wrath had subsided. Since the episode where the Christ child was
hidden in Egypt until the murderous Herod had passed away was a Prophetic
Parallel of the Jacob/Esau pattern, the rage of the men in the
synagogue of Nazareth also passed away as JESUS went on His way in His
earthly mission.
In the last
chapter of Twin Timelines, I compared the Scorpion Spirit
in the “presidents and princes” in Persia (who desired to kill
Daniel, but could not because he was their political superior),
with the Pharisees who desired to kill JESUS, but could
not as they were bound by the law of the Old Covenant.
“The Jews
therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death”
(John 18:31).
This is the
same character trait found in the Pharaoh who desired to kill the
Israelites, but could not. Not only does the text tell us there were
more Israelites than Egyptians, as the story of Israel in Egypt progressed, the
Pharaoh realized he could not kill the Israelites because they
had come to depend on the servitude inherent in their captivity. The text makes
it clear the Egyptians desired to sustain the captivity of the Hebrews so they
could further the Egyptian agenda.
There are
even more Prophetic Parallels illustrating the identical dynamic
being re-iterated across the timelines. For instance, Herod Antipater
was a king ruling over Galilee, and he had married the former wife of his
brother Philip. John the Baptist had denounced him for this
violation of the laws of Moses, and Herodias (the woman in
question) was so enraged that she sought to convince Herod to execute
John.
“[But] Herod feared John, knowing that he
was a just man and an holy [prophet]…he [also] feared the
multitude, because they counted him as a prophet” (Mark 6:20, Matthew
14:5).
This is the
identical triune Spiritual alignment we’ve been examining, as Herodias
wanted to kill the Baptist, but could not as the wife of Herod the Tetrarch
did not have the authority. These facts indicate that she was driven by
the Scorpion Spirit.
“Therefore
Herodias had a quarrel against [John], and would have killed him; but
she could not” (Mark 6:19).
Herod, as the king over Galilee, had the
authority to exact the Death penalty, but he was superstitious concerning John
the Baptist, and was reluctant to kill him – a classic
trait of the Serpent Spirit. The prophet was obviously the third
part (the Seed of God), and Herod threw John in prison, so the captivity
component was also present.
As Herod
celebrated his birthday, Salome, the daughter of Herodias performed a
seductive dance before Herod, and he lusted after her to the degree that he
offered her whatever reward she desired.
“And she
went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head
of John the Baptist” (Mark 6:24).
In this
timeline, the Spiritual factions are demonstrably exposed. The Scorpion
Spirit, which utilizes plots, schemes, and false prophetic utterances
to lead those “that dwell on the earth” (Revelation 13:14)
to the Spirit of Death found in “Antichrist,” was
residing within Herodias. The Serpent Spirit (which
has a direct connection to the entity in Revelation whose actual name is
Death) was functioning within Herod, who
reluctantly kills the innocent Seed of God -- in
this case, John the Baptist.
“And I looked,
and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death,
and Hell followed with him” (Revelation 6:8).
As we have
already stated, these are mystical connections which describe the
principalities and powers – and just as the “king” gave Daniel
dominion over the “two presidents” of the realm, the LORD
Jesus Christ has given us power over these Spiritual factions.
“Then he
called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over
all devils, and to cure disease…And he said unto them….Behold, I
give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over
all the power of the enemy” (Luke 9:1, 10:19). - James Lloyd
