THE COVENANT WITH DEATH

Part IV

In exploring the details of how the sequential stages of the multiple timelines are Doubled, we have determined this phenomenon is a result of the Spiritual powers influencing the earthly sphere – that which we identify as the Sand and the Sea.

Scriptural references that speak of the "Sea" (or rivers, lakes, fountains, etc) are usually associated with the Spiritual realm, whereas the "Sand" (or the ground, earth, land, etc) are commonly related to the physical creation.

It is evident that certain aspects of the principalities in the Spiritual venue are consistent. Therefore, when they are brought to bear on the earthly creation, demonstrable patterns emerge, which can be discerned by those who have been gifted by the Lord.

Christian Media has repeatedly disseminated details of how the most powerful of these forces are evident in the kingdoms that rise and fall, and the ability to recognize these historical patterns as they are manifested in earthly vessels is based on Spiritual discernment within the boundaries of the Word of God.

"The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (I Corinthians 2:14).

Actually, no one should be surprised that the more powerful forces are exerted in the dominions of government and kingdoms. After all, the average person does not rise to the level of those in political power, as those premises are usually found inhabited by those with greater abilities.

Various anomalies are seen that indicate a variety of these supernatural powers exists. For instance, when Jesus empowered the disciples with the ability to take dominion over the "spiritual wickedness" (Ephesians 6:12) that was present in the transition from the BC to the AD timeline, we find an interesting episode.

"And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease" (Matthew 10:1).

However, there was an episode in which a man brought his son, who was possessed of an evil spirit, to the disciples. The disciples of Christ were unable to cast out the demon, so the father brought him to Jesus and told him of his plight.

"[The boy's father said] wheresoever [the devil] taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not" (Mark 9:18).

The man pleaded for Christ to have compassion on them, and when Jesus asked how long this had been occurring, the boy's father responded that it had been happening since his son was a child.

"Ofttimes [the demon] hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do anything, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:22,23).

Predictably, the LORD cast out the demon, and when the disciples asked him why they were unable to rid the person of the evil spirit, Jesus responded with a revealing answer.

"And he said unto them…howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting" (Mark 9:29, Matthew 17:21).

In the Old Testament, we see another episode where an angel sent to Daniel the prophet to interpret a prophecy encounters a powerful devil who resists him, so it's obvious that tangling with these evil entities is not to be taken lightly.

"[The angel] said unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days" (Daniel 10:12,13).

The angel tells Daniel that Michael, apparently a more powerful angel in the service of the Lord (which we learn of in the book of Revelation), arrived to help him accomplish his task.

"Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia" (Daniel 10:13).

In the case of the devil the disciples could not cast out, the LORD said "this kind" requires prayer and fasting, a process that requires some time to elapse. The fact the demonic entity had possessed the son since his youth also indicated it was firmly entrenched.

In Daniel's example, Daniel proceeded to "chasten" himself in a process that took three weeks until the angel broke through the resistance, so there is a bit of similarity to the two circumstances.

"For from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard" (Daniel 10:12).

These passages not only tell us the act of prayer to oppose an unclean spirit requires an unswerving focus and a continual commitment over time, they also indirectly speak of scalability, as just like people, some spiritual powers are stronger than others. This is indicated by the fact these powers were referred to as a "prince."

In the book of Daniel, we find information that teaches us about the Spiritual realm, and because we are probing a "covenant" that is made with "Death" in the present series – and because God has revealed that "Death" is seen as some sort of Spiritual entity in the Scriptures – we are certainly interested in discerning the specifics of the Spirits.

It's instructive to realize that the angel that came to Daniel to grant him understanding from the LORD was extremely powerful, yet the "prince" that opposed him was able to "withstand" him for a lengthy period.

"[After 3 weeks] when I lifted up mine eyes…and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude" (Daniel 10:6).

One might think there are many angels that could have helped Daniel's messenger, yet the text says there was only one.

"Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee?...I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince" (Daniel 10:21).

As the encounter with Daniel's angelic visitor continues, he tells the prophet the Spiritual battle will continue, and when he returns to Persia, another "prince" will arrive.

"And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come" (Daniel 10:20).

This sequence is consistent with the prophecy of the four consecutive kingdoms of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome, revealed in Chapter Two of Daniel. That means this information is indicative of a Spiritual entity that is associated with each of the world's kingdoms, as the Prince of Greece emerges after the prince of Persia. Moreover, if there is point blank evidence of a "Prince of Persia" and a "Prince of Grecia," there must have been a Prince over Babylon, as well as Rome.

Indeed, the previous chapter of Daniel has already mentioned a "Prince" that is associated with the empire that follows Babylon, Persia, and Greece!

The placement of the text documenting that "Prince" is significant, as it's found in Daniel 9. It is there that we find the sequence which is grossly distorted by the Rapture Cult, where the Cult tells us the so called "Antichrist," ruling over the fictional Revived Roman Empire, "confirms" the peace treaty he supposedly makes with Israel.

In other words, this false prophetic scenario obscures the fact the narrative tells us the "Messiah [shall] be cut off" by a "people" controlled by a "Prince that shall come" – and these "people" will also destroy the city and the temple!

In short, there was most certainly a Prince of Rome maneuvering the epic events that transpired!

Furthermore, it is also evident that since JESUS is the only begotten Son of God, Christ was aware of the "principalities and powers" that influenced the world's major events.

There is even Scripture indirectly related to this fact.

When the Roman governor Pontius Pilate threatened Jesus by telling him he had the authority to have him crucified, the LORD told him the only power he had was given to him from above.

"Then Pilate said unto him…knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above" (John 19:10,11).

As we've repeatedly pointed out, since angelic entities are Spiritual in nature, they do not have an earthly lifetime that limits their existence – so the knowledge that the spirits continue to influence the nations in the AD Christian era is not difficult to comprehend.

What is truly fascinating is how the tide of events was so profoundly impacted by the introduction of the Saviour – as well as the resultant counterattack by the "principalities and powers" -- which then opposed the LORD's will through different vessels.

The prophet Isaiah had predicted the LORD would turn Israel "upside down," as the Lord announced an astonishing role reversal was to occur.

"I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name" (Isaiah 65:1).

Thus, as God turned the office of the "chosen people" upside down through the new birth in Christ, the "rulers of the darkness of this world" found their power and authority thoroughly disrupted. It is very important that we perceive the role reversals that occurred, for as each of the three ages emerged, the dark powers found themselves in unfamiliar territory.

The most salient fact that we must recognize from the rehearsal of the history of these "Princes," is the veiled truth that these powers relocated to kingdoms in the AD Christian era. Furthermore, we know when and where they landed when the power of the "Crucifixion Collision" dislodged them from their earthly abodes, as their chronological characteristics are manifested in Prophetic Parallel to the BC timeline of kingdoms.

Thus, the "Prince" behind Babylon became entrenched in the British Empire, and the "Prince of Persia" took root in Russia. The "Prince of Grecia" moved to Germany as the Nazis were rising, and the Spiritual entity that indwelled the Roman Empire, immigrated to America.

In other words, the Prophetic Parallels that reveal their presence indicates there is a Prince of America!
